Presentation models can be used for many varied reasons.
The below example of an architecturally designed house was printed for the owners so they could view the house and make sure they were 100% happy with the colour finishes and physical layout of the house before construction began, this avoided any costly modifications at a later date.
The 3D model is printed in sections so you can remove the roof to see the interior of the house including furniture. The house can then be lifted off the slab to reveal the 2D floor plan printed on the slab.
The house has all the finished wall colours as specified in the architectural plans. Flooring is rendered to show floor boards, carpet, concrete and tiles as specified in the architectural plans. The outside of the house if rendered with grass, paving tiles, decking boards, pool tiles etc. to give the house a more realistic feel.
